The Tygerberg Worship Centre (Fresh Wind Ministries) was founded by Dr. Hennie and Past. Dimpels Lubbe in January 1992 as the result of a direct instruction from the Lord.

 

We commenced our formal church services in the Parow North Primary School Hall on the 2nd February 1992.

 

The church grew and our activities increased to such an extent that the facilities provided by the school could no longer accommodate our needs. In September 1995 we moved into premises in Bellville (44 Mabel Street / Oakdale) and in May 2005 we moved into our own buildings by the grace and favour of God.

 

VISION


Our key verse:
ISAIAH 58 v 12 "And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; You shall raise up the foundations of (buildings that have laid waste for) many generations; and you shall be called repairer of the breach, restorer of streets to dwell in.

 

Restoration in every dimension of the human experience is at the heart of the Christian gospel. It is woven through all the Scriptures and is at the forefront of our ministry of the truth.
